Meet the Team

Ashley Allemand Davidson, DVM

Hey there, I’m Dr. Ashley! I am a south Louisiana native. I attended Louisiana State University for both my undergraduate studies and veterinary school. I started Faith Veterinary Services in 2020 and have been blessed with the most amazing clients and horses to work on! My hopes for this practice is that we can provide you with high quality medicine for your horse with a friendly environment.

Fun facts: Dr. Ashley and her husband Garrett are parents to quadruplets! They love spending time with their sweet babies, riding their own horses, and raising cattle.

Josie Cormier, DVM

Dr. Josie joined Faith Veterinary Services in 2024. Dr. Josie Cormier is a 2020 graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. (geaux tigers!) She has been practicing equine medicine since graduation and has years of experience competing with her own horses! She is also certified in acupuncture, so if you think your horse may benefit from an acupuncture session, hit her up!

Fun facts: Dr. Josie’s favorite past-time is scuba diving and she once went bungee jumping in Croatia!

  • Payment: Payment is due at time of service. No exceptions. We accept cash, check, cards, PayPal, and Venmo.
  • Emergency services: Currently emergency services are for current clients. You will be charged an emergency fee in addition to any services performed. To be considered a current client, the patient must have had preventative care done with us within the last year. If neither doctor is available for emergency services, we refer to the LSU Large Animal Clinic (225) 578-9500
  • Health Certificates: Your horse must be examined by a veterinarian to receive a health certificate. Issuing certificates without an exam defeats to purpose of health certificates. You must have a current coggins to receive a health certificate. Please schedule these appointments in advance to make sure we can fit you in and get your certificate.
  • Expectations: Please have horses caught for your farm call visits. All patients are expected to be halter broke. Please work with your horses to make their experience with the veterinarian as pleasant as possible.
Externs

If you are a veterinary student interested in doing an externship, we love hosting students! Please e-mail us at faithveterinary@gmail.com for more information and availability!
